STEPHANIE DAY
Owner, Planner and Lead Coordinator

Hey there!  I’m Stephanie.  You will frequently hear me say “I love what I do!” and mean it.  I fell into the career of professional event and meeting planner in 1997, and loved all aspects of the planning, execution and coordination of an event. After almost 30 years in the industry with higher-ed, corporate and private events, I’m experienced in researching, planning, coordinating and executing a variety of events from corporate meetings and trade shows to theme parties to weddings of all sizes. In addition to event planning, I became a travel agent affiliated with a local storefront agency in 2014.  This way I can offer you seamless planning from the moment you say “Yes!” to the honeymoon!

With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master of science in management, a certified professional wedding consultant through the Association of Bridal Consultants, and certificates in Virtual Event and Meeting Management and Pandemic Protocols, I have a broad range of education coupled with extensive hands-on experience in a variety of settings.   Rebecca, a recent bride said: ” We interviewed about five different planners, and she struck us as the perfect combination of experienced, professional, fun, personable, organized, and just generally awesome. We’re so glad we decided to work with her, and it paid off right away! I created this business from scratch and it has been my 3rd child, growing the same way my son and daughter have grown (time flies!!)! My husband and live in the country in northern Carroll County in our old farm house we’ve slowly renovated with our kids and Rottweilers.  My favorite thing do to, aside from watching my kids wrestle is to sit on my porch with a glass of wine and watch the sun set across our pasture.

Along with a collaborative approach with the vendors, coordination starting at least six months out, our keen eye for detail, experience and calm direction has earned a reputation for flawlessly executing events of all types and sizes with both vendors we and clients we work with.

ANJIE HENRY

Primary Coordinator

Anjie first fell in love with wedding planning when she got married oh-so-many years ago. Her dream job finally became a reality more than fifteen years ago when she became a wedding coordinator.

After being connected by a DJ they both knew, Anjie has worked with Stephanie Day Events and Travel since 2014, first as a day-of assistant coordinator and now planning and coordinating weddings for us as a primary planner.

A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Anjie pours her heart and soul into making sure your wedding day is a true reflection of who you are. Her favorite part of the wedding day? When the couple sees each other for the very first time. That emotion can never be matched!

By day, Anjie is an assistant principal at an elementary school.  When she is not planning weddings or guiding young minds, Anjie enjoys traveling to the beaches of North Carolina and the Caribbean with her husband and two sons.

LINDSEY FRASCA

Primary Coordinator

With a background in Finance and Project Management and a strong focus on Kaizen principles, Lindsey brings an analytical yet creative approach to wedding coordination. While thriving in her corporate career, she’s found her true passion in bringing couples’ visions to life and considers coordinating weddings her version of “living the dream.”

 

For years, Lindsey’s family and friends have encouraged her natural talent for event planning, trusting her to help plan everything from birthday celebrations to weddings, including her own. Joining the team in 2023, her attention to detail, calm organization, and eye for design make her an invaluable part of the Stephanie Day Events and Travel team.

Lindsey’s talent for elevating décor adds that extra-special touch that enhances each guest’s experience and brings the overall vision to life. She’s excited to help every couple create a celebration that reflects their story—and to make their dream day everything they’ve imagined.

KELLY SMITH

 Coordinator

After leaving the corporate world to raise her two precious girls, Kelly soon found herself putting her creativity to good use planning themed birthday parties for the girls. Before long, Kelly was baking and displaying beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes at weddings and other celebrations.  She also published several articles in Valley Bride Wedding Guide.  Kelly’s love for the wedding business began to flourish as she worked behind the scenes with professional photographers and wedding coordinators, ensuring that brides and grooms focused solely on enjoying their special day.  Joining the team after a venue owner connected us we were immediate impressed with Kelly’s passion for all aspects of event planning. Her eye for décor, organization skills and bubbly personality are an asset at any event.
